TLA's pastor and members share the good news of Jesus, reaching out in ministries of community and care. Numerous groups gather for fellowship, study, and service:

Rug-hooking/craft monthly group with women from Aldersgate UMC and others outside our congregations

Spanish Bible Study and potluck weekly

Contemplative Outreach of Central Iowa and Prairie Fire connections

Nature walks at parks trails led monthly by a TLA member

Lectionary study group with many TLA members and friends

Tradition of altar and remembrance for Día de los Muertos

TLA is a member of AMOS and the Rainbow Faith Coalition
Beyond Trinity Las Américas as a United Methodist congregation, the church building is home to community outreach from four entities.
